Rue Mornay Apartment With Terraces
For those of you not too familiar with Paris, Rue
Mornay is a quiet street in the centrally located fourth arrondisement,
(there is a link to a map from the first link below)
next to the lovely Canal St. Martin, and only a few minutes to
either the Seine or Bastille. It is only a short walk
to either the Sully-Morland metro stop (line 7) or Bastille
(line 1, 5 and 8). And excellent shopping is nearby, including
a large open air market just the other side of Bastille. And, the
"coup de grace" is that the apartment has two terraces,

Paris Hotel or Paris Apartment ?
The first time my wife and I visited Paris, we stayed at a
small Paris hotel. The second time we rented a Paris apartment. An apartment
is better, I can assure you. And neither of us is fluent in French.
But that's part of the Paris apartment rental experience.
Shopping at the local Paris markets, either indoors or outdoors, is a fantastic
experience and should be part of a Paris vacation.
Imagine trying to tell the Parisian butcher that you want "so much"
meat, or the person behind the cheese counter that you want a
piece off their wheel. Believe me, Parisians couldn't be nicer
if you make a modest effort. All smiles, and we got our meat and cheese to
go with our baguette and wine.
So, no doubt about it, a Paris apartment rental is not like staying in a Paris hotel.
It's better. A lot better. Apartments have more room, usually a lot more room,
and more fun - at less than Paris hotel prices. A true Paris vacation. A clear
win/win situation.
