Apartment's Location - Central Paris

Fans of Paris often argue the virtues of the Left Bank or the Right Bank of the Seine. By renting our apartment, you can avoid this argument because it is located on Ile St. Louis, an island in the middle of the Seine so it is equidistant to both banks.

By clicking on the first link you will get a relatively small map of central Paris, with the location of the apartment indicated by a red arrow.

Clicking the second link will produce a more detailed Paris map of the area around the apartment. By scrolling a little bit, you should be able to "get a feel" for the area and the proximity to the apartment of major "must visits."

If you are familiar with Paris, or study the map, you will notice how centrally located our Paris apartment is. Notre Dame is the closest world known Parisian landmark, but the Louvre (a must visit on any Paris vacation) is really near by, as is the Jardin des Plantes (Paris' botanical gardens). And the historic Seine with its numerous quays and walkways is about a minute walk from the apartment.

And then there is the Paris metro, with the nearest stop only a few minutes from the apartment. So, on your vacation you can either tour Paris leisurely, or if you are time constrained, the metro will get you to your destination quickly, and return you to the apartment at the end of the day.
